Next Entries will be in English because I need to practice mi writing skills to improve my oral speaking obviously in English.

I have any number of paper to check...but I`m here thinking about the challenge of what would be the next part of what is leftover this academic year, and the challenge that still represents to me that my science classes must be in this language:
I don´t manage at all.

So I´m here thinking in my English, thinking about the contents I will teach, thinking about the kids and their personal issues, thinking in my owns issues.
Do These topics are relevant for me? Would them be for the kids?
I pick for 8 graders the following contents:
Oceanography:
-Exploring the Oceans
-Ocean floor
-Resources from the Ocean and pollution
-The movement of Ocean Water
-Currents
-Climate
-Waves and Tides
-and last but not least Weather and Climate

-Atmosphere,
-Characteristic of Atmosphere,
-Global Winds and Local Winds,
-Air Pollution, Climate and The Tropics...

Might be better to change the order, first Weather and Climate, then Oceanography and integrate it to Panama relevance...

How to motivate them?
How to engage them?
How to make them fall in love with this content and make them to study it with only my guidance?

First shot them with questions as:
We discuss about soil, now let´s go over our air:
Look out through the window and tell me what is the weather today, right now, in this instant?
Can you tell a definition of Climate, by what you already now?
Have you ever touch snow, snowflakes, sleet (frozen rain), hails?
Causes of Weather, Causes of Climate change?
Do you know what causes pollution in air?
Propose a solution for Climate Change in less than 140 characters.
then read and discuss what I consider the best lesson that connect the vast majority of the contents or is complete.
Watch a video:
And Oceanography! The Field Trip to Museo de La Biodiversidad. #BIOMUSEO

For 9 graders I`ve chosen:
Interaction of Matter, Forming New Substances , Types of Chemical Reactions, Chemical Compounds, Acids and Bases, Organic Compounds, Atomic Energy, and Radioactivity.
Energy, Energy Resources, Energy Conversions, and Heat and Temperature.
Nature of Waves and Nature of Sounds.
Expecting these topics interest these juvenile pupils just for what they are ¿?
